This past weekend was our baby’s baptism. We had the honor of having Pat O’Boyle, who many of you know from The Italian American Podcast as the “Italian American Wikipedia” or “The Notorious P.O.B.,” stand as godfather to our second son, and my husband’s cousin, Samantha, as godmother. It was a beautiful afternoon complete with many traditions and a lot of love and celebration. I’m sharing more about it below in this week’s installment of The Summer Almanac.

The Summer Almanac is an exclusive feature for paid subscribers. If you appreciate the work I do, you can have access to this series, as well as other exclusive, inspiring content, for less than five dollars a month. Paid subscriptions help me to keep writing and creating the content I share with you.

The Summer Almanac, a series of photographs depicting a behind-the-scenes look at my week, published each week, focuses on what my family and I have been up to, what I’m working on and what I’m cooking. It’s like an Instagram feed from when your Instagram feed was still enjoyable and beautiful to scroll through.

My vision for these weekly installments is that they’ll be easy for you to read and peruse, yet inspire you to find beauty in the everyday, ordinary extraordinariness of your own life.

The Tradition of Living Beautifully is a reader-supported publication. If you like the work you read here, consider becoming a paid subscriber for less than $5 dollars a month. Paid subscriptions help me to keep creating inspiring content.
